Want to make a difference in your community? Join the Helena Citizens' Council.
The HCC is looking for motivated people willing to work to make a difference in their neighborhoods and throughout Helena. We currently have openings available for District representatives throughout the city. District representatives act as a liaison between their neighborhoods, the HCC body, and the city commission and staff. We ask that reps be available for their neighbors to contact them with questions and that they are involved and informed about neighborhood-specific issues. District reps are also responsible for working as a part of the HCC body. This requires that members attend HCC meetings and work with other members throughout the city to accomplish goals set forth by the body. This may involve planning for community meetings, surveying the community, or other tasks. For more information on the purpose of the HCC, please see our by-laws. If you would like more information about joining the HCC, please contact Martha Eberle at 447-8493 or meberle(at)ci.helena.mt.us.
We currently have a position available in District 6. To be eligible to be a District Representative, you must be registered to vote in Montana and you must live in the District that you are seeking to represent. Please fill out the application below and follow the listed instructions.
