City and County Officials Speak on Wildfire Prevention and Response

In preparation for a more active 2010 wildfire season, the Helena Citizens' Council hosted an informational meeting on wildfire prevention and response.
The meeting gave homeowners in the City of Helena, Lewis & Clark County, and North Jefferson County information on wildfire potential and provided techniques for how homeowners can protect their property and structures.
Representatives from Helena Fire, Police, and Park & Recreation departments along with representatives from the Lewis & Clark County Disaster & Emergency Services, and the Tri-County FireSafe Working Group were available to provide information and answer questions.
