Scott Mincemoyer

Scott Mincemoyer was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He has lived in Montanan since1991 and Helena since 2004. Scott is a graduate of the University of Montana with a degree in Forest Resource Management. He has worked for 8 years on Wildland Fire Research Projects around the western U.S. and with the Fire Sciences Lab in Missoula and have been living in Helena since 2004, where he has been employed as the botanist at the Montana Natural Heritage Program, focusing on rare/threatened plants and plant ecology across the state.
Scott is married with one daughter. He enjoys skiing, hiking, backpacking, and studying plants outdoors. Scott also finished the Appalachian Trail in 2003.
